Balustrade Estates is an agency specialising in Hvar Island properties, which was established in 2004 by Rupert Dawnay and his wife Katia Zaninović, who both live in the town of Hvar.

Rupert Dawnay from England has been involved with estate agency for some twenty-five years, previously working with the well-respected international estate agents, Hamptons International in London. Katia Zaninović, who is Croatian and a native of Hvar, also worked in London for several years in the corporate lettings market. The working team is completed by assistant Marija Barbarić from Hvar.

The property market in Croatia has been regulated in recent years, and Balustrade Estates is fully certified and legally accredited to deal with all aspects of property transactions. We offer a complete service based on detailed knowledge of the Croatian property market and all its legal requirements.
